NHSMA Scholarship

The New Hampshire Snowmobile Museum Association is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Book Scholarship, celebrating the memory of Kevin Ladd. We thank Allan Ladd for partnering with the NH Snowmobile Museum this year and contributing to this year’s scholarship.

This year’s book scholarship will award $500 in aide to one student furthering their education
either academically or in the trades. Graduating students as well as students currently enrolled in a program are encouraged to apply.

The student or their parent(s) or guardian(s) must be a member in good standing of the NH Snowmobile Museum Association for the 2025 year. To apply, candidates are requested to submit an essay, 500-word (or less) about what snowmobiling means to you, or about an aspect of New Hampshire’s snowmobile history.

For eligibility each applicant must submit the following documents:

1. Completed NH Snowmobile Museum Association application
2. Completed essay 500 words (or less)
3. Provide an official high school or college transcript
4. Provide proof of acceptance to the listed college, university or vocational school

Completed applications must be post marked by March 15th, 2025 and mailed to:

The winner of this award will be announced at the museum’s 2025 annual meeting which will be held in June of 2025.

The board committee will review all applications. The scholarship will be awarded based on academics and quality of the essay portrayed through spelling, grammar and writing style. Application materials are considered confidential and become the property of NHSMA. Applications that are late or incomplete will be not be considered. The board’s decision for the scholarship winner is final.
