The NH Snowmobile Museum will be holding a vintage snowmobile ride in Bear Notch State Park in Bartlett, NH again this year on Sunday January 23. We have a permit with the state, so that any vintage sleds that are not currently registered can participate in this ride, you must remain with the group on this ride if you are not registered in NH.
The group will be meeting at 8 AM at the town shed on Bear Notch Rd, on the Bartlett side( you must come in from rt 302, the road is closed from the Kancamaugus side) , we recommend you get there early, as parking fills fast. There will be additional parking available at the Josiah Bartlett School if the parking lot at the town shed fills early, weather permitting. If there is fresh snow and plowing operations are going, on the school will not be available.
There are about 60 miles of trails in a closed loop system in Bear Notch, perfect for a vintage ride, If you have not ridden in Bear Notch before, here is a great opportunity to come and check out some fantastic views and well groomed trails. The White Mountain trail Club in Bartlett does an awesome job keeping these trails in great condition.
This year's ride will be a ride only, we will NOT have food available, there are two restaurants in town, or you are welcome to bring a bagged lunch or snacks if you wish.
If you have any questions you can call Bud at 603-496-5452.
